The Egg Drop

Welcome to The Egg Drop. The place where I, Egg, will be dropping my thoughts, feelings, facts, findings, and occasional art pieces when the inspiration hits. This new website will act as a sort of open-ended journal entry into my life because I'm really tired of social media but I also want to stay somewhat connected. I have an irrational fear of being perceived but... I also want people to know me and to understand where I come from and how I feel. I could start a Youtube channel but again, that feels much too "perceiveable." I could have also used something like Sqaurespace but I'm gonna be honest I really don't feel like paying too much money for something like that. And besides, learning a new skill such as html can be very helpful. I will now be attempting to learn html (and using what very little I used to know in my highschool tech class) so I can provide a fun way to interact with me, myself, and I.

For now, please enjoy the minimalist nature of the website. Eventually, I will add pictures, emojis, gifs, and the like so it becomes more like you're actually stepping into my corner of the internet.

• If you cannot understand that multiple things can be true at once and/or you do not wish to challenge your current way of thinking/perspective feel free to leave. I wouldn't want you here anyways.
• As mentioned, this website will server as a digital open-style journal of sorts. Therefore, the things I say will have authenticity to them so please be respectful if and when I talk about or mention real life or real people. I am not a robot and neither are the people I talk about.
• I may or may not curse in writing. I will not censor myself. I do not care how you feel about cursing. If you don't like it, don't read it.
• This is not for you if you are, and not limited to, a : transphobe, a xenophobe, a racist, a bigot or anything adjacent or similar in nature. I have a similar intolerance towards antisemities and poeple who are weird about Asian people. Like seriously, stop being fucking weird.
• If you know me in real life, then great, now you get to know more of me. If you don't know me in real life, understand that even if you never meet me in real life, I am still a real person with real thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I am also an adult. If you cannot comprehend that another adult has different opinions, thoughts, and feelings than you, maybe just... get off the internet forever.
• If and when I decide to make political opinions and talk about my feelings regarding political issues, or otherwise contentious topics/issues, I am not going to go to a huge effort to link every single source. This is supposed to be where I get to ruminate on my thoughts and feelings without having to defend myself every step of the way. I certainly hope something will be educational but I can't guarantee that. Once again, the primary purpose of this website is for thoughts not persuasion or an ego-contest. If you want to hear me, then do so. If you don't want to hear me, then don't. Nobody is forcing you to read this.

Yotsuba&! is one of my favorite all time mangas. I found it when I was very little and I just really loved the style and the stories. Yotsuba is also adopted like me so I felt very seen. It's just a super wholesome manga.
